The short version, mateys: Baltimore Blacktoberfest is back this Saturday, October 24, from 1–8 PM on the 200 block of Redwood Street — a free block party celebrating Black-owned wineries, breweries, distilleries, and beverage brands, with food vendors, a DJ, local makers, and photo moments. General admission is free; the $15 Tasting Experience (three tastings) is available at the entrance. 21+ only — bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
⚓ More from the Community deck: all of the Captain’s community coverage.
After a great first year, Blacktoberfest returns with a new location and a bigger Baltimore experience. The Redwood Corridor becomes a full-on block party: sip curated pours from Black-owned beverage brands, eat from local food vendors, shop the makers’ tables, dance to the DJ, and strike a pose at the photo ops. It’s Oktoberfest, Baltimore style.
The event is produced by Pandora’s Box Boutique and sponsored by the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. Beyond the $15 tasting flight, ye can buy additional drinks, specialty cocktails, food, and goods directly from the participating vendors all afternoon.
Free entry, good pours, and a downtown block party on a Saturday afternoon — that’s a treasure map worth followin’. Grab yer tickets (free!) on Eventbrite and come taste something new. — The Captain 🏴☠️
