The short version: Ahoy, Baltimore! The Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (BCYF) is hosting The Gathering 2026: Imagine Baltimore — a free, full-day convening where young people help chart the course for Charm City’s first-ever Youth Master Plan.
The Gathering takes place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Now in its third year, the event expects more than 400 youth leaders, nonprofit staff, funders, educators and community allies. The day opens with youth performances, offers 20 breakout sessions across two rounds, and closes with Expert Office Hours from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m.
What attendees share will feed into Baltimore’s first-ever Youth Master Plan, part of a citywide conversation aiming to gather 10,000 community voices. Registration is free, with stipends available for youth participants and BCYF grantee partners. As BCYF President and CEO Alysia Lee put it: “Imagine Baltimore invites all of us to dream boldly before we write that plan.”
